Day 84 in Japan - A Wild Aaron and Corey Appears

Japanese lesson - new verbs confusing.
McDonalds lunch (cheese fondue burger - what the hell, Japan?
This is a cheese fondue burger - part of McDonalds'
"Around the world with chicken" (or something like that)
promotion here - I guess this is Swiss week?
Wandered through the park with every intention of studying, but then we found a little tatami house doing traditional Japanese tea ceremony with matcha (green powdered tea stuff). How could we resist? Afterwards, found a place to sit, opened up our bags and then...

Tea in the park.

We got a phone call from Aaron and Corey! They were waiting for us at the station! EXCITEMENT APLENTY! We jammed our books back into our bags and jogged over to the station, to find the two of them already looking a bit tired sitting outside KFC. It was so exciting to see them - there were hugs all around, and lots of questions and stories before we realised that maybe this would be better done somewhere without the boys carrying their luggage around. So we jumped on a train, and took them back to our house.

On the trip back to our place, I think we talked their ears off about every little thing that we walked past. We were excited to have someone to show the area to, even though they were obviously a bit tired. Eventually dumped them in our tiny house (which felt even tinier with 4 largeish people in it), and swapped stories over a heap of various cocktails and snacks that Sam bought from the supermarket. It was awesome to hear about their trip so far - they have done so much exploring in a week that they really put our three months (almost) to shame.

Welcome to our home!
The stack o' girly drinks. Our tales were THIIIIIIS tall.
Izakaya for dinner and more drinks - fried stuff, beer, plum wine and sake.

The beginning of a crazy night.
Learning the peace sign thingo.
Walked to karaoke, 2 hours of karaoke and nomihoudai (all you can drink) turned into 3. Great times.

Karameoke - slightly blurry beginnings.
Somewhere in the middle - crazy eyes and empty glasses.
Towards the end of the night. It may looks sedate, but look at the crazy face on Aaron.
We hit up the Lawson for some alcohol soaking food before walking home and collapsing into bed. It was an awesome, awesome night.

Food Highlight of the Day: The Lawsom provided the best 1 am egg sandwich I have tasted in my ENTIRE LIFE.
