Day 139 in Japan - No classes and Pizza

What a lovely Friday today was! First, I had no classes at school, so it was a pretty easy day of finalising lessons up until New Years, marking English Journals and marking exams. I supervised an exam that I had written for the Science English class, and I found out how nerve wracking it can be to watch 40 people flip open a test that you made.

Today's sunset was really beautiful, and it was a nice clear day so I could see all the way across to Awaji Island (and I think even further south to Shikoku). I took a bunch of pictures from the top floor of my school, and on my bike ride home, because it looked so nice.

After school, Sam and I had decided we were going to have a pizza night, and I was dead set on making our own pizza dough. After looking up recipes, sorting out ingredients we needed and trekking to the supermarket, I saw bases on sale for 300 yen each, realised that waiting for the dough to rise would mean no eating for another two hours and caved. We made ourselves some brilliant pizza, and sat on the floor to eat it while playing Sam and Max Episode 201 (Ice Station Sant - see, getting in the Christmas mood). Such a lovely day :)

Sam and Sam and Max and pizza and Suntory Premium Malt.
Food Highlight of the Day: Semi-homemade pizza.
