Today was another lovely sunny morning, and Sam and I did a big house clean in preparation for having a few people over to our house today. We figured that seeing as we were lucky enough to come to Japan prepared with a 2 terabyte drive filled with entertainment from home, we should share the love. So Simon and Jodie came over today with their own newly-purchased hard drives to fill up with TV shows and movie to keep them entertained during the cold winter months. We had a really nice low-key day of talking crap, making jokes (Simon is one witty guy) and just hanging out. It was really nice.

Who's got a clean house? |
After Simon had to head home, we took Jodie out for a spin on her new bike down to the sushi train restaurant that is close to us. It was pretty decent, and now we know that we have a sushi train that we can bike to in about 5 minutes, I think Sam and I will be eating a lot more sushi. Jodie headed off, carrying our spare futon all bundled up at about 10:30 (I thought it was 9!), and we headed for bed, still talking about what a great weekend we had!

This is the kind of ethics that I expect from my sushi restaurants. |
Food Highlight of the Day: My favourite sushi from our new sushi train was the salmon, onion and mayo nigiri. Yummmmm!
